As a lifeguard, you'll have the important responsibility of ensuring the safety of our members and guests. students working with Walter D. Stone Memorial Zoo can expect competitive pay and a summer filled with fun. Join the team where all students want to be, and kickstart your summer with us.

As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
Comfortable in and around open water with knowledge of safety considerations
Ability to navigate deep water and use watercraft (e.g., surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam (550-meter open water swim, tread water without hands - 2 min, etc.)
Previous experience working with or teaching children is preferred
Red Cross Certification or WSI certification is a plus but not required
Must be 18 years of age or older
